Bate stamping- is it okay to use white out?

Hello everyone! I am a legal assistant and my attorney will be filing a motion through mail. She asked me to bate stamp ( never done it before, learned it literally just now) and I missed one page near the end and had to white out the pages that came after it. Is it okay to white out and stamp over it again? Does anyone know? I can’t find anything online. Thank you!
