Asymmetrical cheekbones

Hi everyone, just a quick question. So in the future I will be needing jaw surgery, and obviously I need to talk to a surgeon which I will be in a month’s time. But I have asymmetrical cheekbones as in one side is much flatter than the other. I do need expansion because I have a very narrow palate. But with MARPE/MSE I’ve hear that asymmetries can happen.

So If anyone has been through this can you tell me what your journey was like?
