Why some weapons have less magazine capacity than other (not second primary from asault)

Hi,

I recently played with the TR-7 and noticed that I run out of ammo much more often than with other weapons. I obviously don’t have any secondary primary weapon on my Assault class.

I tested some weapons in the firing range and here are the results (same class, ammo count is approximate because I was too lazy to equip the exact same magazine everywhere):

• TR-7 = 156 rounds in reserve
• KORD = 259 (!)
• AK4D = 147
• M433 = 222
• NVO = 185
• M4 17A2 = 147

Overall, most weapons seem to have between 210 and 240 rounds in reserve. Some, like the KORD, somehow have 259, while others have less than 150—often weapons that aren’t particularly strong.

Does anyone have an explanation for this?
