How to handle a 8x8 ft space

I would like to build a proper garden bed in this weird 10x12 space in my yard (enclosed by sidewalks). I figured an 8x8 ft bed would leave enough room around the edges for some pest deterring flowers. I have bought seeds for tomatoes, bell peppers, carrots, and snap peas. Would one large bed be optimal? Should I break it up into smaller beds? And are these plants even compatible to grow together? All tips are appreciated, thanks!
