I'm highkey cooked

I want to apply to schools in the US but my family is dirt poor compared to the tuition costs. I'm pretty smart and I'm going to do the sat soon but I only have one extracurricular(V.P of my schools coding club and won a coding comp). Is there any school in the US that's at least decent and relatively cheap. (FYI I want to do software eng)
