Has anyone tried ADVATx/Advalight laser?
I know this has been asked by others on here before but it's been a while and it didn't get many responses so I thought I'd ask again.
The ADVATx seems to be a new-ish laser that's recently started being offered at my go-to treatment place. Apparently it uses dual wave light (yellow and infrared) to target a variety of concerns including rosacea, redness, acne, collagen stimulation, and more.
My hesitance is that this is by far the most expensive laser treatment I've ever considered. Over the years I've had 6-8 or so BBLs for around $350 each and one Excel V for around $425. All of them helped somewhat with the background redness but I've never seen an improvement for flushing so the redness comes back. I know that any treatment will need repeated over time but I'm just not satisfied enough with the results to keep getting BBLs, and the Excel V didn't do much of anything (the derm who did it told me it's really only for people with visible broken capillaries, which I don't have, but I had to try it since people speak so highly of it!).
I'm intrigued by the ADVATx because it specifically mentions targeting flushing, rosacea, and redness. It also claims to be gentle on sensitive skin and that it won't harm a fragile skin barrier which is something I really struggle with thanks to rosacea. Unfortunately, it's $600 per treatment and I'm thinking I'd probably need at least three since I haven't had any treatments since 2024.
Has anyone tried this laser? Can you share your results? I'm so tired of wasting money on ineffective treatments but I'm also tired of having no self-confidence and slathering my face in foundation and concealer just so I can go in public. TIA!
