Have you ever been naked for religious purpose?

I have and almost all my Christian friends have too (baptism)... And I resently found out that baptism doesn't require complete nudity it's just what the priest of our village did... Like is it leagal in Christianity? Also when is the right age to baptise? Cus all my friends got baptised after hitting puberty

And for my story I'll keep it short here. I'm Hindu and there's a ritual called "upanayan" and I had to get naked and apply oils, turmeric and sandalwood paste all over my body and shave every hair on my body... cus that's the traditional way but no one usually do that anymore

Nth sexual in any of the incidents but hella awkward
