"mental health advocates" ugh...
Major trigger warning here. I hate how just about every one of them either go on about how mental health matters unless you are actually mentally ill, then you are scary and should be institutionalized. Or "I'm mentall ill but I'm not like those crazies" type of people. And in the few cases they actually acknowledge those with more severe mental health disorders as people what do they talk about? Is it about the awful conditions of many "care facilities"? Maybe about the fact they can literally drug you without consent? How about the fact the physical health concerns are brushed off by doctors if you are mentally ill? Or perhaps about the fact mentally ill people are more likely to have trouble finding work and are more likely to be homeless and you know how poorly homeless people are treated. Not to mention the fact mentally ill people are more likely to be in abusive relationships as well?? No silly! They'll talk about what REALLY matters and make tweets complaining about the term "schizo posting" and nothing else!
