Reroute Doubt

I had booked my flight from BLR to DFW via Doha on 15th march (follows under COMMQ157 rebooking dates). I contacted my agent, cleartrip for reroute through Cathay Pacific (Tier 1 partner). They said they have to mail Qatar for approval and they’ll get back to me in 24hrs. Will I be rerouted? Do I contact Qatar airways directly.

Kindly help me out as I’m flying for the first time through Qatar and I’m not sure if I should ask for
