There's a name for what you're feeling. In Hungarian, we call it "closing gate panic."

In Hungarian we call it kapuzárási pánik - the panic of the closing gate. The feeling that the doors of life are shutting one by one and you haven't done what you were supposed to do. You haven't become who you were supposed to become.

It's not the fear of dying. It's the fear of dying without having mattered.

I run a Hungarian podcast with a friend who studies human behavior. We did an episode about mid life crisis. The reckless spending. The "if not now, when?" decisions. Staying in situations way too long because you've "already invested so much." Chasing goals that were never really yours.

We turned those conversations into a book (in English, with some help from AI). It's called Manual For Your Life: The Closing Gate. It's on Amazon - free with Kindle Unlimited if you have it.

If you don't have Kindle Unlimited and are genuinely interested, DM me before Friday (March 7) - I have a limited number of free review copies I can share.

If it helps someone here, great. If you have questions, I'm happy to answer.
