Someone explain this to me. I was listening to the live feed on the Kennedy hearing / Noem firing.

So Noam had been caught IN A HEARING yesterday, that she funneled 143 million dollars into a shell company run by a friend of hers in her own office, that had existed for only a week, for advertising. A company that still doesn't exist.

But that's not what she's in trouble for.

Kennedy had this weird script, that Tim Miller suggested came from White House staffers wanting to manipulate Donald Trump using TV clips and JVL thought probably came from Stephen Miller for the same use. The script confronting her on 220 million in adverts showing her face to say that she had "embarrassed the President". She had said that her spending on these ads was approved by the President and I guess the plan was to use the fact that this was a lie and the speech of Kennedy saying that she embarrassed him (how? the rest of the things she does is much much much much worse) to get him raging and firing her.

And this works.

I get it that Stephen Miller may want her gone because when the press asked her about the execution of a couple of white people on camera in Minneapolis, she told the press, ask Stephen Miller, he's in charge I just do what he says!

The fact that she called her victims domestic terrorists, while standing at a podium that had the Nazi slogan quote [and yes it was all upper case and the second phrase was in bold face] "ONE OF OURS ALL OF YOURS" Which means that if you kill one Nazi officer, we (the Nazis) will massacre your entire village or city.

And that's not the embarrassment. Some weird, more in sorrow than in anger, smoke blown by Kennedy that a woman spending our money promoting her face was the embarrassment.

JVL said that the attitude you have to understand is that in Trump's view, all federal dollars belong to him personally and to his family. All graft goes to him, all spending is for him personally. Spending money is stealing from his pocket!

But I still don't get it, she's not in trouble for stealing $143 million for her cronies, she's in trouble for showing her face in $220 million of ads.

Explain this to me like was, if not 5, like I was 13.
