Do you think we are just too sensitive and lack stable background?
I think our disease is sort of inability of ruling our body in the spirit world, so the spirit world starts to rule it instead. But my definition changes every half years, so don't take it serious. :D In my case I did not have any preparation before I entered this realm, on the contrary, constant suffering for decades and severe trauma caused it. My family background is not average, I had a violent, probably perverted father who wanted a girl instead of a son so he constantly questioned the very base of my identity and my mother was submissive, she did not do much about it only worried a lot which made me question my safety too. All of this added up when I reached my thirties and the sum became a mental breakdown where I started to hear voices and sense the other realm and even see short visions about it. I was lucky, somebody guided me from the other side, so for 1.5 years I was happier than ever, because I had a new friend and I was not alone anymore. We built an entire new world together along with many other spirits. After 1.5 years evil came and started to break down this world just like the constant evil and suffering pattern I had in the normal world and it started to play on my fears too. I was diagnosed because I entered into this negative spiral of fear and my entire world falled apart in half year. I lost my spirit friends too in the process. I started over very low, I had more than 1000 delusions and countless negative thought patterns and fears, some sort of self sabotaging system. I overcame them one by one. I managed to defeat my captor and after 3 years I was happy and free again for about a half day. And ofc. tactiles came "out of nowhere" and my meds stopped working. Turned out my self sabotaging system which came from my mother and father is still active and I can hardly defend myself in the spirit realm when I constantly sabotage myself. So I decided to take back control of the situation and woke up from my bad dream, which is weird. It is as if I had slept through 5 years. I became fat, I got a gf and a pretty good job and I am fighting in the astral or whatever we call the dimension where psychotic visions happen. A lot of things changed. I managed to shut down both systems and became myself again. The thing is I still have very bad tactiles, but it feels like I made a huge step forward again. I just thought I share this story, because checking these traumatic family patterns over and over until you manage to stabilize your identity might help if you are in a crysis and cannot defend yourself from "voices"...
