niece caught something

just got told my niece (6) tu last night/this morning once and has a fever today. she was at my house off the bus after school yesterday and seemed completely fine (eating and playing normally).

now i’m spiraling because obviously i knew she was gonna catch something at some point being in kindergarten and all, but i really don’t want to get s*. we always make sure she washes her hands after coming in the house after school and watch her do it, but she’s always attached to me and i feel like my odds aren’t great if she actually caught a b*.
