My ultimate secret . ( wild girl but not dumb)
I’m a girl from Mandaluyong, but I always joke that I’m also a “Tanduay girl.” My work as a promoter takes me everywhere—north, south, islands, cities that never sleep and towns that are just starting to discover nightlife. Because of that, my life is always on the move. One week I’m in Metro Manila helping launch a new bar, the next week I’m flying or taking long bus rides to promote a newly opened club somewhere in the provinces. It sounds glamorous when people hear about it, and sometimes it really is—bright lights, loud music, meeting different kinds of people every night. But behind all that, it’s still work, and it takes a lot of energy and confidence to survive in that environment.
People often assume things about girls like me. When they hear that I’m open-minded and liberated, they immediately think I’m wild or messy. But that’s not really who I am. Yes, I’m adventurous. I enjoy life, I like meeting people, and I’m not afraid of experiences that others might judge. But I still believe in boundaries and respect—for myself most of all. Even when I do crazy things or make spontaneous decisions, they’re still calculated risks. I’ve learned how to balance fun with responsibility because this industry can easily swallow someone who doesn’t know how to protect herself.
Traveling nationwide also changed the way I see people. I’ve met businessmen relaxing after stressful weeks, artists celebrating their gigs, bartenders who treat their craft like an art form, and travelers who just want to enjoy the night. Among all those faces, sometimes I wonder what it would be like to meet someone different—someone grounded and professional, someone who can talk about life outside the noise of clubs and bar counters.
I guess that’s why I like the idea of meeting a professional guy, even just as a friend. Someone who understands ambition and hard work, someone who doesn’t judge my job but also brings a calmer perspective to my fast-paced world. Not necessarily a romance right away—sometimes friendship with the right person is more valuable than rushing into anything.
Because at the end of the day, beneath the promoter, the traveler, and the so-called “Tanduay girl,” I’m still just a woman figuring out life step by step. I enjoy the excitement of my world, but I also appreciate meaningful conversations, genuine friendships, and people who see me beyond the lights of the nightlife scene.
