Restaurant/bar people!

I’ve made a similar post before moving but didn’t really get any traction. Here’s to hoping.

I’m new in town, and I moved here basically blind. I’ve worked in bars/restaurants for most of my adult life with a few brief forays into sales & nonprofit work. I’m really trying to land in the right spot and avoid wasting everyone’s time, but I’m so unsure of where to start. I’m not a college kid and prefer working somewhere local, more vibey, ideally socially progressive, and not a tourist trap, etc.

Any advice or direction would be so clutch! TIA
