Meta quest link returns to home screen

Hey everyone, for the past few months I wasn't able to use airlink or cable link with my oculus quest 2 and the meta link app, everytime I click on "add device" it returns me back to the home screen like nothing happened. I'm unable to link my device does anybody have a solution to this?
