Searching for the Perfect Bag for my Sabbatical to Asia (14-19 Liters).

Hi! My name is Sam. I have been a longtime bag snob, and have been lurking on this thread for a year or so. Love y'all!

I am looking for the perfect bag for my trip. It will be my personal Item on probably 8 flights. My primary bag will be last years model of the Osprey Farpoint 40 L (just got one new on sale for $75)

- 14-19 Liters

-No budget (I'm excited and want a nice bag!)

- Extremely Comfy

- MUST HAVE: Can carry a travel tripod in the exterior water bottle pocket (with a compression strap or mounting points above the water bottle pocket to keep tripod secure)

- Sternum Strap

- MUST HAVE: Waterproof (yeah,yeah,yeah...heavily water resistant...fine!)

- I totally love all of our goofy high-end materials like Ultra, XPac, Waxed Canvass and the like.

- Laptop Sleeve (at least 13 inch macbook air. if it can fit a 16 inch pro, hooray...but not required)

- Fits my camera cube is small (Boundary CB-1 Camera Insert.  10.5W x 8H x 4D")

- Can also fit snacks, water bottle, misc.

- I am looking for my daily carry for a 2.5 month trip around Asia/Europe this summer, its my first time leaving the US, I am excited. (Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Italy)

- Currently looking at the Aer City Pack 2 Ultra, Arktype Dashpack in Waxed Canvass, DSPTCH Mini Ruck Sack.

What other recommendations would you have for me?

Any other tips for me, for the region, pack list, accessory pouches you like, etc etc. Its my first Onebag Travel (okay, yeah i just admitted I will have two bags.... please forgive me!!!)
