Perpetually broke car guy? How yall enjoying cars while being broke?

I’m trying my best but I seem to be monyphobic, may be the double diagnoses of autism and hdhd but I struggle with my Career. Any how I’m trying to enjoy being a car guy by doing my own maintenance on my civic. It’s not a cool civic just your average 2010s cars commuter, but it’s all I got. I even go to meets sometimes and try to chat with folks but often get clowned when they find out that’s what I drive. Idk if social media has made a lot of people more toxic about that kinda stuff but as someone who can’t go out and get something else, it just makes it hard to enjoy my passion.
