Should I book another return flight? (Gulf Air)

Assalamu alakyum guys,

My flight to Jeddah is scheduled on Saturday and I plan to spend the rest of Ramadan in Makkah in sha Allah.
Now my return flight is on the 21st of March through Bahrain. My question is would you book another alternative flight and forget about this one or wait and pray that the situation gets better till then?
The current return flight is with Gulf Air. Maybe anybody has experience with them and know. if I get a refund for the flight.

My other option is to take a flight to Cairo from Jeddah and then from Cairo back to Europe.
Would be an extra 600 EUR approx.

What do you guys think?
