Vogue Australia x Meshki event + no appearance from Alexandra

Alexandra Saint Mleux

The Vogue Australia x Meshki event yesterday had multiple F1 WAGs and women in motorsport in attendance, and it appears to have had a bit of a motorsport or car theme to align with the GP and to celebrate International Women’s Day. Idk to me it seems a bit weird that Alex didn’t go, I’m fairly certain she would’ve been invited (especially if Isa with her private Instagram account and Hannazi were there). Meshki had that whole capsule collection with her, and she literally just did that article with Vogue Australia… if I were her/her team I’d think it would be wise to support these two brands/entities that were generous enough to work with and highlight her. There’s been gossip about her gaining a reputation of working with brands and then moving on and abandoning them when she’s gotten what she’s wanted from them and this doesn’t really help with disputing that. Brands value public figures, celebrities, and influencers who are loyal and cultivate longstanding relationships, if you come off as ungrateful and overly self-serving, brands considering you for partnerships won’t see the value in their end of the bargain. Just because you’re Mrs. Leclerc now, you went to one Jacquemus show, and your stylist started pulling some archival Dolce & Gabbana pieces doesn’t mean you’re better than or above these influencer events hosted by e-commerce fashion brands.
