Asking as we're tenants and our landlord's agents are dragging their feet about sending out a contractor (UK).

Our Neff dishwasher (S5943X2GB) has stopped working properly. The "water supply" light will flash solid and the motor/pump doesn't stop or pause even if the door is opened. We've had this happen 3 months ago, and the issue stopped after we spent a week of just washing the dishes by hand, followed by a contractor visiting and resetting the dishwasher.

We've checked the manual from the manufacturer website, which advised that it usually means that either the water supply hose is kinked or there's a blockage. We've checked what we think is the hose and haven't seen any kinks; we haven't disconnected it yet because we aren't 100% sure it's the hose and frankly are both worried about causing damage to the property. The hose is also connected to the main sink trap, which again doesn't seem to have any blockages as our sink drains perfectly.

We've also checked the filters and have wiped them clear of any debris, but the issue persists.

I've attached a video I made last week to demonstrate the issue and our attempts to resolve it via resetting it (as advised by our landlord and the last contractor who checked it 3 months ago).

Since that video, the dishwasher was briefly working this morning, which allowed me to top up the rinse-aid and dishwasher salt and run a cycle with just some dishwasher cleaner. The dishwasher stopped working again after that cycle completed.

Is there anything else it could be? We've had a lot of maintenance issues pop up in this apartment over the past few months after nearly 4 years of nothing (including a boiler issue which is *still* ongoing after 5 contractor visits), and we're concerned that our landlord and their estate agent are going to try to pin this on us.

Neff dishwasher intermittently has flashing light on "water supply" and doesn't end program, then works again after a week
