How are Banner builds?

Was thinking about starting a Deadeye Wander / Bow but Banners look really good. I'm worried about the clunk of banners but even then a Banner Champion looks promising. I have a soft spot for duelist builds, especially champions.

And while Mirage may reward map blasting more I'm still curious.
