newbie HO questions

I've been finding this sub really helpful as I craft my listing. I want to provide an rewarding, low-maintenance experience for our sitters, and could use feedback on whether a couple of requests I'm considering are reasonable:

- our current local cat-sitters (not live-in) send a brief daily text and photo, which I really appreciate - okay to ask this of a live-in sitter for a 2-3 week stay?

- we'd planned to ask our current sitter to be emergency back-up, as she lives around the corner and knows our cats very well. I'd like to ask her to stop by a few days into the sit just to check in (with notice, of course!), but don't want to make our live-in person feel mistrusted or infantilized. What do you think?
