Do Moroccan baths actually help with skin buildup in Dubai?

Living in the UAE, I feel like my skin gets this layer of buildup pretty quickly probably from sunscreen, dust, humidity, and just daily exposure outside. Regular showers and scrubs help a bit, but it never feels like a deep reset. Recently I tried a traditional Moroccan bath (hammam-style treatment) for the first time, and I was honestly surprised at how different it felt compared to a normal body scrub. The steam and exfoliation process seemed much more thorough. My skin felt noticeably smoother afterward, almost like it removed a layer I didn’t even realise was there. Curious if other people here get Moroccan baths regularly? Do you find it helps with skin maintenance in Dubai’s climate?
