50L set aside to invest; genuinely confused

context: i’m 28 and have practically no exposure to equity. I’m basically preparing a retirement portfolio which i’m gonna touch after 10-15 years. I put 5L 2 weeks ago into motilal oswal nifty 500 index and immediately realised passive allocation without deliberate planning and strategy is not gonna be fruitful. what would you advise me to do?
