NFC reader not working

*Marked as accessory since i’m not sure if it’s the product, or my phone.*

For reference, i have an iPhone 16 Pro currently running 26.2.1 software update. I have a dot.card for my photography business, that uses the NFC reader to work.

-if you don’t know what that is, it’s a card that uses the NFC reader on phones to send you a link, and it automatically pulls up my profile with contact info, socials, etc.

Ever since i upgraded from my iPhone 14 pro the my now 16 pro, the card doesn’t work and i can’t find any settings for the NFC reader. I’ve restarted my phone, its current on updates, I don’t know what to do. If anyone else has this issue, ca you please inform me on how to fix it? It’s a really cool item that i’m proud of using and it makes sharing and saving info so much easier. I don’t want it to go to waste, especially with how expensive this phone is and how “glorious” apple made it out to be.

no i have not contacted the company yet, but have gone to their website for troubleshooting, and info on if i missed something. could not find anything. will contact if no solution or other troubleshooting with my phone is suggested here.
