Children's books with a modern, humorous take on biblical stories

Trying to find these books I read in the early 2000s that had more modern takes on biblical stories with some humor added to it. The only one I recall is the Parable of the Lost Son, where the father, upon his son returning, gave him a whole bunch of stuff out of happiness including a Rolex watch and I think a luxury car.

Also tried looking through Google/ChatGPT but couldn't find anything. Appreciate the help in advance!
