Albus Dumbledore replaces Mace Windu in Revenge of the Sith. Can he arrest Darth Sidious?

Dumbledore: "In the name of the Galactic Ministry of Magic, I am afraid, my dear Chancellor, that I must relieve you of your position."

Palpatine: "Are you threatening me, Headmaster?"

Dumbledore: "The Winzengamot will decide your fate."

Palpatine: "I am the Winzengamot."

Dumbledore: "Not yet."

Palpatine**: "**It’s treason, then."

The scene plays out as usual. Anakin will arrive and attempt to help Palpatine, assuming the fight goes that long and ends in a similar fashion.

All canon feats from the books and movies are permissible.
