My puppy is getting sick too often

I feel like I'm not a good dog parent. She's getting sick every few days. Got food poisoning, then after 2 - 3 weeks (1 week back) she was vomiting again from eating a rubberband and today she got bitten by an insect and had her face swollen. I took her to vet and she's fine now but I feel like I'm failing her again and again. I'm scared this will effect her growth if she continues to get sick like this. I try to look after her all the time but clearly it's not enough if she's getting hurt like this again and again. Does it happen with everyone or is it just me being incompetent.
