Advice on our current situation?

So I don’t know if anyone has any advice, but I figured I’d ask. My husband, my child and I all live in Amman Jordan. I’m a US citizen and so is my eight month old son. We were waiting for his papers to finish. We were literally on the last leg of his journey when Trump put the pause on immigration. He was supposed to get an email at the end of this month to schedule an interview for next month. My question is, is there anyway to get him out of Jordan and for him to finish his process in California? Considering we’re technically in the middle of a war? Also the embassy here closed two days ago due to a threat from Iran, so they’re definitely not interviewing anyone at this time. Idk it feels kinda hopeless at this point.
