Toughened glass outdoor wall lights — what the IP rating actually tells you and what it doesn't

IP65 is the rating most outdoor lights advertise, but it only certifies dust-tight and water jet resistance — not prolonged rain exposure or submersion. Coastal environments and particularly exposed walls need higher ratings or different materials entirely.
