Small gestures really do make a difference

I've been having kind of a rough month and yesterday a package showed up at my door. It was from my best friend who lives across the country now. She got me a personalized mug from Callie with an inside joke printed on it and my name on the other side. It's such a simple thing but honestly made me tear up a little. Just a reminder to do small things for the people you care about. You never know when someone needs a little pick-me-up.
