XC90 Purchase Help
Hi All,
Like many of you, I’m trying to get the best value while shopping for a newer XC90 (2025.5 / 2026). I’m currently considering the B6 Plus across three options:
- Used 2025.5: ~$61K, ~5K miles
- Loaner/Demo 2026: ~$62K, ~5K miles
- New 2026: ~$71K MSRP
A couple of questions for the group:
- Discount expectations: For those who have recently purchased, what additional discount (if any) have you seen on top of the listed price for used, loaner/demo, or new XC90s? I’ve heard dealerships often allow room for negotiation, but my only prior experience buying a car was with Tesla where pricing was fixed.
- Used vs. loaner vehicles: At a high level, would you recommend going used or with a loaner/demo in this scenario? My understanding is that loaner vehicles are often still titled as new, which may allow access to more favorable new-car loan rates, though potentially not Volvo’s promotional APR.
For context, my credit score is around 780, so I’m hoping to qualify for top-tier financing.
Appreciate any insights or experiences you can share.
