How would yall disprove the "Chad" theory?
(Idk if this has been debunked before but I wanna hear yall's thoughts)
This is a quite famous idea that most women desire a top 1% of the male population that are "genetically superior" showing certain physical attributes that they are attracted to rather than the average male form.
Evolutionary psychologists shown that when women selected mates, they were drawn to certain males who displayed certain masculine bodily features such as taller stature, broad shoulders, well developed muscular upper bodies (abs, v lines and biceps) as well as clear skin, symmetrical faces with defined jawlines and deeper set eyes.
To women that signaled genetic fitness and strength so they evaluated based on the looks of the man as well as his ability to protect and hunt for the family. This physical description does fit the Chad archetype.
Even during the ovulatory phase, women tend to show even stronger physical attraction towards men with these more masculine traits as described before. (Don't bring your girl to the gym if shes ovulating)
This also backs up another theory known as the "dual mating strategy" where when fertility is the highest they lust over these highly masculine men and prioritize them for short term while simultaneously seeking a man who provides resources for long term even when physical attraction isn't that present.
So if there's this much evidence that women do have physical preferences for men, how would you actually disprove this? (Im not tryna cope yall, I just noticed sum)
