Greetings CachyOS community!
I’ve been using CachyOS on my Honor MagicBook 15 (Ryzen 3500U / Vega 8 / 8GB RAM) for a while now. I wanted to share the most stable settings I’ve achieved for Dota 2 and get some feedback from those with similar hardware.
Current performance metrics:

* FPS: In the 45-55 range.
* Frametime (Latency): Between 18.7ms - 21.8ms.
* Temperature: 67°C - 78°C. Applied Optimizations:
* Steam Launch Options: mangohud gamemoderun %command% +fps\_max 55 -novid
* Graphics Settings:
   * All graphics settings on Lowest (Low).
   * AMD FSR enabled.
   * Vulkan API and V-Sync enabled (this came disabled by default, but fluidity increased significantly after enabling it).
* Steam Settings: Enabled “Shader Pre-Caching” options.
* System Level: Continuing with CachyOS’s default schedutil governor. My question is: For friends using a similar APU (Vega 8), what else can be done to improve latency and FPS? I’ve tried a few things via terminal with the help of Gemini, and these are the ones I found effective. I’m not fully satisfied with the current “playability” level and I know the limits of my system. To be honest, I haven’t tried the performance on Windows for this game, but I want to tinker a bit more. I look forward to your comments.
