I didn't care for Zootopia 2

I found Zootopis 2 to be needlessly full of simply stupid humor that added nothing to the story. Such as the Partners in Crisis scene. Then there was the endless array of references that didn't make sense. Why have the reference to The Shining or Silence of the Lambs? It just didn't add anything or even make much sense.

Then there was the "Women is Wiser" trope between Nick and Nibbles, which just went on and on and wasn't funny.

The thing that made the original Zootopia was that it had none of this; it respected its audience. It didn't have dumb humor or scenes that didn't add to the story. Zootopia 2 has so many, I'm left wondering if they werejust padding the movie. In Zootopia, the references stayed in the background as easter eggs for the audience to find. Most of all, the movie didn't demean its characters; it respected them and showed, as all good buddy cop movies do, that the characters need each other and everyone is important.
