This happened on a camping trip last week and I still feel weird about it.

We had all been drinking around the fire for hours. I was pretty drunk and honestly just really horny, which I’m sure didn’t help my decision making. At some point during the night I started talking more with one of the random guys we had been drinking with. I ended up admitting that I was feeling really worked up and frustrated. It was one of those things you say when you’re drunk and not thinking about consequences.

Later on we both ended up in my tent. My boyfriend was already inside and completely passed out, like blackout drunk. He was maybe two feet away from us and didn’t move at all the whole time. I remember looking over at him a couple times just to make sure he was still asleep. The tent felt so small and quiet and that made everything feel way more intense than it should have.

The whole thing felt really impulsive. It wasn’t planned and I didn’t go into the night expecting anything like that to happen. But once it started I didn’t stop it either. Afterward I cleaned myself up right away because I didn’t want to risk my boyfriend waking up before me and seeing anything weird.

The next day the guy showed me a picture he had taken and it honestly made my stomach drop. It turned the whole thing from a drunk memory into something real. I can’t even pretend I wasn’t turned on by how risky it felt at the time though, and that’s probably the part that’s messing with my head the most.
