I’m 4eps in, are the 4 dating or not?

So, I actually started watching because I saw a video of the dance from the opening (peak opening btw) but in the second episode it says they’re dating and that he told her he liked her but I didn’t get that from what he said. In ep 4 they both refer to each other as “good friends” and so do the green and oranges haired couple also refer to themselves as good friends. I’m just confused as to if these people are actually dating or not or if it’s just the subtitles being weird? Sorry I can’t remember anyone’s name rn lol
