Help finding an old tabletop game?

I'm losing my mind here. It had buildable ship models on plastic(?) sprues, you'd punch out the flat pieces and slot them together, many ships were just two or tree pieces to make the illusion of being a 3 dimensional model. They were tiny, like 3 speeders on one base was the size of my thumb, a Falcon still fit in my palm. My memories of them are from 2012-2015ish, though im sure they were slightly older. I don't remember actual mechanics, but it was probably like a precursor to X-Wing/Armada with stats on the bases, don't *think* it had any other parts. I'm a good googler but I'm coming up woefully short.
