Just a heads up for people in the south west area. Around 5:31 PM today, I had a strange and concerning encounter, while I was walking my dog, a black sedan with no license plates drove by with several teenagers inside. I saw at least two girls in the back, and a male got into the passenger seat. The driver was wearing a black balaclava but it was also a male.

They started by throwing something at me, which I ignored. After that, they turned around and chased me with the car, nearly hitting the curb while trying to throw a bunch of papers and trash at me. Among the things thrown were documents including a vehicle registration (address was a Thornton address).

They then drove away recklessly heading to sheridan blvd.

What upset me the most is that my dog was with me and got really scared, and the situation could have easily escalated or caused someone to get hurt.

I’m assuming the vehicle may be stolen, since they had no plates and were throwing around vehicle paperwork.

Also worth noting: another person nearby mentioned that their 12-year-old was robbed by what appears to be the same group, and they threw trash at him as well.

Just wanted to share so people in the area can stay alert and keep an eye out. If anyone else saw this or had a similar encounter, it might be worth reporting

I called the cops and gave them all the information I could.
