14 weeks and I seriously don’t know how women does this

Rant

I’m 25F and a FTM, currently 14 weeks pregnant, and honestly I’m in awe of women because I genuinely don’t understand how people function during pregnancy.

My partner and I just moved into a new place and there’s so much to clean, organize, and set up. The problem is the medication I’m taking (Diclegis) makes me feel like an actual zombie. If I take it, I’m so drowsy the next day that I can barely keep my eyes open. If I don’t take it, I’m nauseous all day and end up vomiting multiple times. So it feels like I have to choose between being functional but sick, or not sick but completely exhausted.

On top of that, I wake up multiple times a night to pee, so my sleep is terrible. August (my due date) feels so far away right now.

My partner is doing his best to help with things around the house and take care of me, but he’s also a professional athlete and comes home exhausted after training, so I try not to rely on him too much.

But seriously… all moms are absolute troopers. I can’t believe women have been doing this for centuries. I also feel like women don’t complain enough about how hard pregnancy can be.

I’m lucky I work from home because I truly cannot imagine having to go into an office feeling like this.

Anyway, just needed to vent for a moment. Pregnancy is wild.
