Sorry but a “What If” Question

So I’m watching a documentary about Hitler and the Nazis and I know these questions have been brought up but I don’t know if I’ve heard this one asked yet, but I was thinking as Hitler is in an open top, cruising through Linz or Vienna, what happens if he gets assassinated? Who takes over the Nazi party? Does it stall? Does it have the same power to create war?
