Game keeps switching my planes during war

Not sure if if this intended or not but whenever i’m in war and use a 3rd gen bomber it automatically switches it to a better 6th gen bomber even though i want to use my 3rd gen? i’ve tested it with CV drones and it also does the same. How do i stop this? is this a MD thing or a HOI4 thing?
