is black mold in date safe?

hi everyone, i was eating a date and noticed it tasted funky but didn’t think much of it until i reached the seed and noticed the entire inside and seed was filled with black dusty mold. i’m extremely paranoid and starting to feel uneasy, has anyone had this happen to them?? if so how did you feel??
