[PARTIALLY LOST] Zach Nolan / Roblox Camping YouTube series from Bloxburg Movies

Youtube

Hello, this is my first time on this subreddit. So for years now, I've been tirelessly searching for the full collection of the Camping episodes from a YouTube channel previously known as Bloxburg Movies. Created on August 15, 2019, they solely posted Roblox machinima short films similar to what you see on other Roblox storytelling channels like ShanePlays, but of more refined quality with a slower narrative pace across episodes; despite the name, the channel never posted anything directly about the Roblox game Welcome to Bloxburg. When deciding what videos to create, they were quick to jump on the bandwagon whenever viral trends emerged in the Roblox community (e.g., The Last Guest, Guest 666, etc.), and occasionally collaborated with mainstream Roblox YouTubers like Poke, LandonRB, and DFieldmark. However, what they were most remembered for was the long-standing series about the Camping saga and its overarching antagonist Zach Nolan. Those types of videos were the most popular on the channel, with a lot of them garnering tens of thousands of views.

Around February 2020, they made all of their videos private and rebranded the channel as NewScapePro 4 - Fortnite Minigames & Challenges! and from then on, started posting Fortnite stories and sketches. The reason is uncertain, but it is likely because the Roblox content underperformed in terms of reach and engagement compared to Fortnite in other channels at the time.

Ever since that incident occurred, I've looked far and wide on the Internet for reuploads, reaction videos, fragmented clips, images, or anything else about the Camping videos. In spite of the channel's visibility, it never got much recognition following the sudden restyle, ending up with just a Fandom wiki with no explicit mentions on other forums or social media platforms; luckily there are some copies of the videos already posted on YouTube, but most of them still remain lost. However, on May 25, 2022, Newscape Studios, the company behind Bloxburg Movies, created a YouTube channel that is supposed to serve as a backup (I think?) with the same name, same profile picture, similar banner, essentially same everything and started reposted some of the first videos until they abruptly stopped uploading and moved on to a different channel called BloxBusters; one with the same concept of producing generic Roblox machinima content. Thankfully, all the unavailable videos can still be seen on the Filmot page of the channel uploads.

Only 21 out of 47 total videos were found and 7 out of 24 Zach Nolan videos were recovered; an archive playlist on the Internet Archive was created for the remaining videos, but since then, no new videos were discovered at the time of this writing. However, I'm thankful for getting the videos' metadata like the thumbnails, transcripts, and descriptions from YouTube Video Finder, Filmot, and Quite a Playlist, respectively.

When it comes to methodology, I'm always met with a dead end when trying to find undiscovered videos in many corners of the Internet. Most of the time, I had no luck in finding them on Google, Bing, Yandex, DuckDuckGo, and many other search engines with custom date ranges. For what it's worth though, in around August 2021, I have found other private videos on the now defunct YouTube mirror site dideo.tv, and I came across five- or six-second low-resolution cached previews from three of them,^(1) although I couldn't do anything with them. It does seem a lot of the more recent videos could no longer be found on anymore mirror sites, or at least with cached content.

I have also tried reverse image searching the thumbnails with TinEye, Google Images, and Yandex Images (the last two yielding the most relevant images), but it led me practically nowhere except for a Russian YouTuber named Валеришка Sim. Surprisingly, they had gameplay footages with parts of the original video thumbnails as well as containing brief, scattered clips throughout them. (A playlist of those videos.) Consequently, I emailed them questioning if they still had any video, but unfortunately they responded to me saying that they didn't.

Interestingly enough however, I've gotten mixed results on the Wayback Machine; even though a lot of them weren't archived, I've successfully found a few of the first videos there, but some of the later ones have failed to be properly archived despite snapshots of the webpages existing; I'm always introduced with a "We have not been able to archive the video associated with this YouTube page." video playback error, and nothing could have been done aside from being able to see still images of the videos by hovering the mouse over the progress bar.^(2) Fortunately by way of filtering by image types, I've found and saved JPEG images of all the videos' frames via Network tab in DevTools. However, I found out today that they could be conveniently found via MW Metadata.

Contacting anyone who were connected to the channel didn't help either; I managed to reach Maxwell Dallas, the person who's responsible for creating the videos, on Instagram to see if he had any saved videos that he could share, but I have yet to get a response from him. Emailing both Newscape Studios and Kaleb Sherretz, the COO of the company, also left me with no replies.

I've exhausted nearly all my options and that's why I turned to Reddit for this specific situation. To be honest, I don't expect anything significant to come out of this post, but I figured posting this could attract attention to this particular piece of media I'm obsessed with. Any advice on where to look, what to use, who to contact, or anything else in general would be appreciated, and it'd be nice if someone gives searching for anything related to the series a shot. Now I've heard of perceptual hashing before, so maybe there's a chance to find something valuable with that? But then again, I've no idea where to start with that. What I'm going to do now is simply reverse image search some of the unavailable videos' cached frames as well as search up parts of the transcripts on many search engines, even though I heavily doubt I will end up with anything useful at the end. If by some miracle any active Roblox users, NewScapePro fanatics, or anyone who has stuck by the channel in general has any downloaded or screen recorded videos, whether whole or partial, please post them anywhere publicly, regardless of quality.

Someone else has already made a post about the media I'm looking for, so I do have faith that all episodes will be retrieved in the near future.
