Those of you with landscaping crews, how do you handle invoicing and getting paid on time?
I run an electrical shop but I work with a lot of landscaping guys on the same properties and we always end up talking about the business side of things. One thing that keeps coming up is chasing payments. Seems like everybody has that one client who takes 60+ days to pay or just ghosts after the work is done.
For the landscaping pros here, what does your invoicing setup look like? Are you doing paper invoices, emailing PDFs, using some kind of app? And how do you handle the guys who just will not pay on time? I started requiring deposits on anything over a certain amount and it made a huge difference for me but curious what works for you guys.
