Can’t spawn in defenders in conflict Xbox

Hi everyone, it’s been a minute since I played Arma (since November) it used to be that you could go into a conflict single player session and be able to spawn npcs to help you fight but now when I go to my living quarter and select the units I want to spawn in thay just disappear as soon I tap right bumper. Im I missing an update or Is it just a bug I already deleted all my mods and my cashes and nothing. If anyone has encountered the same problem, or know how to help that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
