Should I walk away? (FTB)

I thought I found the right house, nicely sized, very well priced in a decent area with good connection. Offer accepted, went through with the level 3 survey. I haven’t received the full report, but the surveyor called me and highlighted many issues.

First issue is the roof. Due to lack of knowledge, I wasn’t aware how a flat roof is a big deal, the whole house is flat roofed, which needs repairs as there’s a small leak in the main bedroom already.

Secondly, they mentioned that the outside state of the house is quite poor and would need rendering, as they’ve noted significant damping issues that may potentially involve the utilities room downstairs, as well as mold in the utilities room and downstairs bathroom

I’m not sure whether to wait for the full report or just call my solicitor to pause things tomorrow morning. When i looked up the costs of these repairs online, it’s looking quite expensive, specially in london . Plus the flat roof comes with its issues which is the biggest fear I have now.

As a FTB, any advice on how to proceed?
