Feeling stressed about grades while on FMLA

I’ve a first year middle school that’s been on a leave due to depression/anxiety for the past two weeks and I’m being bombarded by emails from students about updating grades for their late work as the end of the quarter approaches.

I know the advice on this sub is that I shouldn’t be working at all on FMLA, but I feel like I’m literally the only person who can make sure the kids get a fair grade, since I’m the one who designed the assignments and rubrics. It’s been preventing me from completely disconnecting from work and recovering

There are also several students failing and in danger of failing whose parents I haven’t contacted because I’m on leave and I’m worried this is also going to bite me in the ass.

If anyone’s been through something similar, could you please give some reassurance that everything will be okay? Or a reality check I guess if they won’t
