Friendliest Android phone for elderly mom back home

Hi!

I am trying to figure out which phone is best for my elderly mom in India - she has trouble picking up our calls because of “swipe up” gesture needed for WhatsApp and other apps.

Current phone does not have many Accessibility features.

Samsung? Pixel? Anything else?
